Anybody know the wiring connections for the three-pronged oil pressure sender/switch as fitted to SD1 ?

I believe one connection is to the oil pressure light
One connection to oil pressure gauge ?
and maybe one for fuel pump cutoff on low oil pressure (?)

can anyone confirm and/or tell me which is which?

handy have found it for you mate,

looking at the switch so you have a terminal left, top and right,

the left terminal is white which is from the ignition,
the top terminal is white/purple which goes to fuel pump and oil warning light,
right terminal is white/brown which goes to starter relay (gives 12v to fuel pump while cranking if im correct)

Thanks a lot for that - shame though, I hoped one terminal might be usable to connect to an oil pressure gauge ..

It's the larger round cylinder type thats used for the SD1 gauge, what gauges are in the car?

John, I have the normal single prong oil pressure switch in the lower position on oil pump housing - that is connected to the dash oil light.

But above that, in the upper sender position, I do have the three-pronged canister type sender - currently not connected up to anything.
As I don't have an oil pressure gauge I thought maybe the 3-prong sender might allow me to fit one..
