STARTER MOTOR

Hi,
I've bought a new reduction gear stater motor,the problem is my old motor has 3 wires 2 small on the soleniod 1 large from battery.The new one only has 1 termenal on the soleniod plus battery,not sure where the second wire needs to be conected.

I think the 2nd terminal is something to do with the ballast resistor (or not) on the older ignition system.
What ignition do you have?

It is indeed the 12v feed to the coil whilst cranking. It depends if you have a ballasted or bormal 12v coil.
You won't do any harm not connecting the third wire, give it a go. If it struggles to start you need to get 12v to that wire when cranking. Although do not take it from the solenoid as it can back feed and cause the starter to engage whilst the motors running and eat your new starter

According to my Microcat the part no should be RTC6061N
