Paul,

I'm no expert on Holley carbs but I think what you are referring to is a metering block which you can change the jets on, and have heard of these being used to upgrade Holley 390 carbs.

You may well be able to use Weber jets but these would be from the European versions such as the DCOE and IDA and not the Edelbrock/Weber which was originally a Carter and has a system of jets and needles similar to SU's.

Real Steel keep spares for Holley carbs. and would have a range of the correct type of jets

They were called Weber Power Plates back in the early 80's. I bought mine from a place called Speed Unlimited in Rockville.

They were available for many versions of Holly cards but the pair I had were for the 390 as it was fitted to my capri on Swaymar maniforld.

Just checked and they were available for Models 2300,4150,4160.

Holley version is shown here:

Then there is an Adjust-A-Jet kit:

I could not find a link to a current version of the ancient Weber Power Plate but I have seen an article about it.

The kit that uses secondary metering block instead of a plate (making a 4160 into a 4150 type carb) is completelydifferent thing.

I have already converted my carb to a 4150.

I like the look of the adjuster kit set, could i use 2 sets 1 primary and 1 secondary? looks like it would make it alot easier on the rolling road!

It depends on the size of your engine. 3500 usualy runs on 56 primary & 58 secondairy jets so this A just a jet kit is to large for this aplication.

A good rolling road center has all the jets on stock to provide you the jets you'll need folowing the dyno sesions.

Once jetted you'll never have to change unless you'll change the setup of your engine so there's basicly no need for this fancy A-just a jet kit unless you've a high spec racing engine that needs setted by every change of weather (cold/hot/humidity) and on track conditions...............
