Help. I have paid for an engine I believed to be a 3.9 rebuilt 8000 miles ago with new 'warm' cam, mallory dizzy and magnecors. it is also running lamda sensors. I have just been given the engine number from the log book which is 23D06407D.

Is this not a low compression 3.5? from a disco.

With the above mods what power could i expect?

If you were led to believe it was a 3.9 ask for your money back, having checked two engine no. data base it is definitely a low compression 8.13/1 injection 3.5 engine, did you get the EFI system with it and what proof of rebuild?

Difficuly to say what power it will produce without knowing exactly what has been done, Hi comp 9.35/1 engines were quoted at 155BHP and I think low comp were around 137BHP
