GRRR Couriers!!! How much does an LT77 box weigh?

Can anyone help with this? The courier rekons its 90kg LOL and wont take it because of that GRRR!!!

50kg or thereabouts
Correction, just been out to garage with bathroom scales - 46kg without bellhousing. I guess bellhousing must be a couple more on top.

Cheers mike, just out of interest is the gear selector on too? I told them it would be 45kg and they rang back and said "I'm sorry but the driver tried to lift it and said it must be double that". Maybe they employ chimpanzee's.

That was a 2WD LT77 Suffix D including oil, mounting bracket under the tail and gear selector.
The only thing not on was the bellhousing and clutch fork (which are in a box somewhere) and they can't weigh much.
90kg
Scales said I am 102kg

Cool I rekon I am well in with the 45kg then as it doesnt have any ancillaries. Word of advise- dont bother with futuredrop/parceldrop unless they are using dhl! (who wont take that much weight anyway!)
Lol don't suppose anyone travels to/from St Helens, Merseyside to Essex every day do they? Lol this is doing my head in!!! I booked it over a month ago and still havent got it!

i have used INTERPARCEL to send a gearbox , can't remeber how much but you can quote ity online before booking

I had one shipped recently, no oil, bellhousing or brackets. It weighted in at 47kg including wrapping.

most companies who do that stuff require it to be on a pallet so they can use a pallet truck and the tail lift. So find an old pallet and contact a company that moves them. Trouble is they are all usually a minimum of £50 unless you have an account with them.

Got it, the guy at the other end booked it for £43, wouldnt be so bad if I hadnt already paid that with the other company (which I cant even get hold of to get a refund GRRR) but looks good! Got a D suffix, just gotta try and work out the right gearing now to find the right size diff!
