97mm head gasket?

Hi..

Need info.

Witch side is top? I cant see any mark.. And "flame" ring is not identical..

I'd fit them with the wide fire ring to the top as the flamefront/heat is in the head/chamber above not the block below if you know what I mean.

What brand are they?

Agree wide fire ring face to the top, but for a slightly different reason. The narrower ring will be sitting on the top on the iron liner. The wider ring will be against the aluminium head. Same contact pressure on both sides - obviously - but spread over a larger contact area on the head side to help avoid gasket sinkage into the head face.

Thanks for info..

I bought them for RPI and dosen´t know more than that they are suitable for 96-97mm bore..

I have a 5.1 turbo motor here with buick 300 heads and 96 mm bores. I'll probably order a set of those gaskets and I'll ask which way up they go.

If they can't tell me then I'll get buick felpro's and infill for the 'V' where I need to.
