Hello Guys I hope you can help me out. I have a pickup truck with a 3.5 v8 which had a flapper efi system on it. I have taken the injection side off and I am in the process of fitting a carb setup from real steel. At the moment all I have done with the wiring is move it to one side and just fitted the manifold and carb to the block. What I need to know is what wiring can I remove and do I need to re-connect anything so the truck will turn over and fire up?

thanks for ya help Holley

The wiring for the flapper system is a separate loom to the rest of the car. You can remove anything from the ECU forward, the only points where it attaches to anything else is power and a signal wire from the coil. Remove these connections and it will all lift out the truck.
