blue oil smoke

Hello,
I post here for a friend who has an 3.9 converted to 4.2.
Normally pistons were installed with new rings and block has been honed.
The problem, only during deceleration and only when the car is on a slope, the engine smokes blue.
In other situation the car doesn't smoke.

Any idea why it only smokes on a slope and deceleration ?

Do you think it can be the rings or valve oil seals ?

Thank for your help.

sounds like its got too much oil in the sump and its well above the baffle plate allowing oil to surge forward or back then up into the bores

Agreed - check that the dipstick matches the dipstick tube.
