At last after being delayed by Real Steel for over two months on the balancing the bottom end is now together.

The heads should be completed tomorrow and bolted on so we can measure the valve gear and decide on pushrod length.

The sump is yet to be painted!

Here's a picture I hope.

Chris,

The Heads are Buick 300 and originally had 54cc chambers, we have machined the heads to reduce the chamber size to 49cc and with the Chevy pistons and tin gaskets that should give me a c/r of approx 9.8/1. If I use composites it will drop back to approx 9.4/1
