Can anyone please tell me the CO level that my Rover 3.5 should be?
The RR manual states 4% at idle.
I have a Weber carb and Dual Plane manifold. Would this make any difference?
The measurment to took yesterday of 14% would be high then!!

if the manual says 4% then that's what it should be. You just need a bit of tuning to get it sorted out.

Cheers :D
I was just worried that a different / modern carb would have different CO settings.

CO should be measured for the engine not the carb. If you cant get it set right then something is wrong or mismatched or you have made other more severe changes to the engine like a big cam.

No. I have 9.75:1 pistons and sd1 heads with block hugger tubular twin exhaust. Nothing special. I expect about 170bhp.
I guessed the mixture settings!
I am a CORGI waller so have been trying my gas analyser out on the car. I do not know if it can read accurate CO levels from Petrol.
I have contacted the manufacturer to find out.
