The Jag V12 is a much nicer sounding engine.

Yeah, but its only 5 1/2 liters, and the V10 is 8...
You should understand, the only thing that beats
cubic inches, is cubic dollars. How much would it
cost to get the Jag V12 to make the torque and HP
of the Viper??

It might only be 5.3, but it can be bored out to something silly like 17 litres.

This was at York Dragway a couple of year ago
Jaguar V12 - 7.2 litres on 6 downdraughts iirc 700hp it sounded loverrrly

Another use for a Jag V12, a chappy I know wasn't happy to just have 8 cylinders in his trike.
We also have a guy around our way who imported a Viper complete rolling chassis and then fitted his split screen VW pick-up body shell to it...amazing bit of kit.
