no pics as ive not picked it up yet
its the 5.0 version i beleve this is a ford 302 tickford enhanced windsor is this so? what are the differences between a bog standard falcon v8 and a tickford v8? cam ecu and heads?
ive only ever played with rover 3.5's before so i cant wait to get playing

It'll probably be a Cleaveland 302(5.0L), as I don't think the
Windsor was available in Oz...

Is the cleaveland still a popular engine over there? I'd assume most people would favor the windsor.

yeah fairly popular all the ambo's had clevos and they all got swapped over for diesels i think so there is a heap around
the clevo is a wide block hey?
mine doesnt look that wide making me think its a windsor

im in brisvegas mate i thought it was a windsor its the normal motor and not the tickford enhanced version (bigger throttle body etc)
ive heard stories on the transmissions failing is this an oil cooling issue
i noticed that the cooler was tiny
also it has a bit of a ticking noise ive also heard thats common cant decide if its a lifter or a belt tensioner not had it in the workshop yet, apart from a quick oil and filter change after work last week but it looks quiet for this week so i may be able to to a transmission and coolant flush
maybe stick the big oil cooler that the old boss left after it wouldnt fit his fairlane
goes nice though cant help but think my old ed 4.0l 6 was torqyer but hey never mind
