Can anyone confirm the thread size and type of the above?

adam,

i have the 4.6 gems type cover, not the intermediate one.

But mine has the oil pressure switch mounted in the side, dont know the thread but the part number is STC4104.

Its quite a small sender compared to the SD1 sender i have in my current 3.5 efi.

Hope this helps.

They're both on the side. I have a gems type cover and can tell you they are different sizes. I did a 200mile round trip today to get hold of the extension bar and can tell you for the intermediate cover it is 1/2UNF

I removed a sender from 4,6 timing cover and it fitted into an ancient Range Rover cover. So I would assume that the thread is 1/2" UNF in all covers.
