Fuel pump for injection system

Fitting a hotwire system to a 3.9 Rover v8. I've got everything except a fuel pump can anyone recommend one?

From what I can find out a flow rate of 100lph up should be fine for my lightly tuned engine. (Just a mild cam) but I see pump specs quoting a lockout pressure (e.g. 29psi) I don't understand what that means and what I should be looking for in terms of lockout pressure on my engine.

Sytec, Facet or Bosch part no would be great

thanks

Ben

I use a Bosch 910 pump - altho can't remember the rest of the part numbers! I think it's the one down from the 044 motorsport but don't quote me on that. Only cost me £60 IIRC, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than the 044 ones. No experience of the other makes you mention though.

Look on eBay for Range Rover or SD1 pumps. I think there was a Range Rover one that was external to the fuel tank on early models.

Might turn up something anyway.

For my van, I just bought a bog standard fuel injection pump from Demon Tweeks I think. About £100. Can't think that it had any figures quoted with it.

I called RPI and advised what the engine spec was and they supplied a bosch in line unit that appears to be up to the job. Likewise also about £100.
