What do I need to undo the bolts securing a 4.0 Plenum

lol, do you mean the plenum top or trumpet base?! Only reason I laugh is because I used both imperial and metric allen keys and neither work on the trumpet base! I had to make my own allen key to make it work!

It sorta depends upon if someone has changed things from the original ALLEN headed bolts.
If so it could be that they are TORX fixings.
If neither - send foto.

The ain't Torx settings that's for sure (well, not on mine or anyone else's I've seen). Definitely Allen, but as I said for some reason imperial and metric wouldn't work. Think I grinded an old metric one down to fit. I also had to fiddle the trumpets a bit with a file to get the bloody bolts out afterwards!

Thanks Guys,
They are definitely Allen Key bolts, think I have an Imperial set over at the garage, I'll try those first. I'm just playing around whilst waiting to get the rotating parts balanced.
