Intake manifold pipe work

I installed my intake manifold last week. I am not using a heater matrix and so need to connect this to bypass. I believe I have the EFI flapper manifold. The injector ports have a circular step inside which I believe is identifies it as such, casting is ERC9119. I do not remember seeing a threaded boss underneath but have since seen photos of manifolds which show one where the heater pipework is plumbed. I do not really want to remove the manifold to check I have one or not. I do remember seeing a couple of threaded holes underneath to accept small screws for brackets.

Vieiwng the manifold from the front I have the thermostat housing and to the left I have a thread boss. I also have a steel inserted short pipe on the right hand side front, I am thinking these two are the heater feed and return and I presume I can just connect these together. I also had on the right hand side near the front but on the top a small steel pipe insert which I assume is maybe a feed to the throttle body water jacket?

I also have a flat platform on the top left hand side front which looks like it used to have something mounted on it but it is not drilled.

If it is flapper (which I think it is) then the flat platform thing is for the old stepper motor thing.

As for the plumbing, its similar ot my old pent-roof manifold. I too have removed the heater matrix, and yes just Teed the heater plumbing together - I have a header tank in place of the heater matrix now. The small connection which you think is for the throttle body water jacket - I just Teed this into the feed from the top of the header tank to the radiator overflow connection.

Hope that helps :?

Cheers mate, so no plumbing into the underneath of this manifold like others?

Mines a bit different, water pump does not have a T, its the NAS cover and later water pump I have. My themostat housing points to the right. I do not have a connector at the back of the water pump either. What is screwed into the left hand boss, looks like a sensor cannot make it out and the water temp sensor is on the right top.

Thats the sensor for the gauge, mines a P6 set up, with the narrower pump, didn't realise the later pumps haven't got the other outlet ! john
