Carburettor HEEEEEEELP

For 'classic' events I have to use a carburettor so at the moment trying to cook up a switchable fuel system, high pressure (Injection) / low pressure (Carburettor) so I can changeover the 4-barrel TB for a Carburettor reasonably easily. Leave the dizzy in and just changeover from coil packs when a 'classic' day out is needed.

First : Do you think this is doable

and if so, Holley or Edelbrock carb?

and what CFM for a 300 (ish) bhp Chevy 350.

I've still got the 850 cfm double pumper for sprints / drags so just need a road / race carb

Cheers,

Ian

Fuel system side of things is easy IMO.

Efi pump will happily work on efi of course, or a carb setup. Just use a proper return style regulator for the carb.

Or if you went to a little hassle now, and fitted an aftermarlet efi regulator with AN fittings, you could easily cap off or bypass the efi outlet, and feed the return line of it, into the feed line of the low pressure regulator.

Again, swapping/capping outlets as necessary when swapping.

I dont see why both regulators cant be in place at all times.

or you could setup it all up with AN fittings and just swap the regs.

As for ignition. Why not just use a single coil, albeit still controlled by the ecu ?
Saves any messing about changing stuff.
