Hi and welcome to the new look V8 forum,
we are surprised how quick we became live on the new server and web host,
I had a few gremlins with the new database (so did Marki )
BUT with Marki's help (cheers mate) we are now live again,
Over the next few days the board may be up and down while we are making changes and adding new mods to the forum features,

We was not going to open the board up until all work was done, but as it seems a few are already login in for accounts we have decided to go ahead and open up,

Just to say we haven't finished yet and Like Tony said we have some mods to go on yet plus a good few other things so it can only get better.

Well done to you both.

Do you think it will be possible to see all new post in the same way as the old forum, ie you have the facility to see all in last hour, 3 hour , day etc.

So often you log in and start to review new post and have to log out only to find when you login there all gone.

Having the facility to look back over a certain period is very useful.

we have a lot to add yet so every thing every one wants will not be available just yet, so please bare with us for a few weeks

You can see the equiv of "active topics" by going to the small link at top right of the main forum page, "posts since last visit", or something similar,

Hi Marcus how's it going? The avatar you can either upload a piccy from your PC, or link to one that's on some webspace somewhere. It's in "profile"

Hi Bill, good thanks. Well i got the avatar sorted. I tried using a photobucket img link in my sig box for sig piccy but not worked yet. Maybe i gotta trim pic a bit. Or does it work differently? Btw have u moved yet Bill? I got next sat off (23rd) so might pop down the ace if anything good is on.

Well it's nice and clean and roomy in here, but I am sure we will soon start filling it up with general automotive clutter !!!

Hi Marcus, 23rd is Thurs mate, I'm going on Weds 22nd for a 'Norse night', hopefully see some other Amazons. Could be up for Sat though or Thurs, depends on house malarkey. Ours was sold (in 6hrs...) but fell through yesterday. Missed out on a place with loads of garaging/sheds. Well p*ssed off at the mo, o well...
