No way, I also loved the American Hot rod show. He didn't come across very well in quite a ew of the shows, but he certianly made some amazing cars!

RIP a legend. When I first got into hot rods and street machines when I was at school in the 80's this guy was the don. He bounced back from adversity many times in the years since then, great shame to lose him at the age of 63. The standard of build on some of his cars was another level to most others of the time and his vehicles won many of the top stateside events. What a massive influence he must have had on so many car builders.

Sad news. I watch that program as often as i can. The last one i saw Boyd broke out his skills and did all the spraying on one of the rods they built. He did come across a little cranky in some shows.
Never liked Duane too much... i think he should be more hands on and stop acting like an arse to others. Earn their respect one would say.
A sad time for the family though
RIP

I wonder if Foose will attempt a buy out?
Boyd Wheels is a big business I think.
I saw an article from someone who visited Boyds place while they were filming. He said Duane was a realy nice bloke. But when the film crew told him he was needed back on set. He said "time to act like an asshole again" and walked off.

Boyd sold the wheels division to American Racing a couple of years ago, and sold First wife Diane with it.
