It says on the site info that you have to have an MOT for RWYB?
Is this correct or have I read it wrong.

They have never checked my MOT...
and I do not have a catch can for radiator ( header tank etc doesnt have provision for it )
Im sure Ive also seen cars that are clearly not road cars, and would not have MOT racing.
But a catch can is reccomended. If I could easily, Id have one.

i belong to the dragracing mailing list Stevie,
and Tony one of the guys on there said to me when i was going to go there, the car needs MOT and a catch can if rad vents to the floor, i was told that last year though

The scrutineering guy did pull me about the catch can first time I was ever there. That was the only time though.
I just said my car doesnt throw out water

( only once to date lol, and it was a very small amount )
I have a plastic header tank from an old Audi, and the cap just vents.....whereever it wants ! Must get that sorted.
I have never been asked for an MOT. But I guess my car must look roadworthy enough that they dont need to ask.
Perhaps in a RWYB style race series....they may be stricter ?

Helmet, Long sleeves, No Shorts, catch can if you dump from cap in rad, and if you have a open oil breather, it has to go to a catch can as well.
Thats about it as far as I can remember, deffo strict on the helmet and sleeves,
Ian

Thanks chaps.
I've seen lots of cars running that are clearly not road legal. Just weekend warriors from the diy garage as a lot are.
Guess I'll fit a catch can to my breathers then. And get some long sleeves for the Summer.

Yeah right!!
How many Oval circuit race cars have an MOT?
Seems a bit odd to me. So any car running slicks must be banned as well?
Seems to me if your car looks like its road worthy they let you run? But there are loads of cars that race at Shaky that are obviously not road legal.
I dont get it.?
