Callipers - single or twin line feed

I've heard that the Police versions of the SD1 had single instead of twin feed callipers - can anybody confirm this? And if so, what's the advantage?

My reason for asking is that I have 2 sets of Jag callipers, one with single and one with twin feeds, and can't decide which set to rebuild for my project - if one's better than the other, I need to know!

Just boils down to caliper design really...

Some have internal crossovers, some dont.

I guess those that dont, could be made more compact, perhaps stronger, and allow bigger brakes, inside a smaller wheel.

Id rather have one flexi hose, than 2 though.

Or could you have it the wrong way around and the Police had 2 feeds

But that would be one feed and one return to circulate the fluid to stop ot overheating - it also automatically bleeds the system
