Gear selector

Does anyone know where I can I get the end for the shaft on the gearbox that selects the gear.
I had a short remote and the gear stick fitted in the eye on the selector, I now have a remote from a SD1 which also has an eye on the end!!
What do I need and where can I get one.
In my case two "eyes are not better than one"
