stripped my heads for a clean, re-lap & new stem seals & mixed up which valves go in which head....fool that I am.
So, million dollar question, whats the worse that can happen? bearing in mind each valves to be lapped in & I would have guessed any sticking or misalignment would be evident then??
At £50 for a new set would that be a way out? or is fitting the old ones, that are perfectly ok btw, & re-lapping them ok?
You never know its 50/50 that I get he right ones anyway!!

Dont worry, just have to lap them in carefully one at a time.

As Ian said just lap them in (may take a minute extra on each one but still not a long job) check them with engineers blue if want to be absolutly sure (a dab on the seat when you have lapped them and spin the valve round twice).
