Hi,

I have a standard carb 3.5 I want to get a little more power out of without spending too much or rebuilding the whole engine.

maybe put new perfomance manifold with carb 500cfm being good?
So.... I will be running LPG. What kinda things can I do to it?

maybe cam from 3.9 is it good idea?

hi, im a lpg user in a 4.6 r/rover V8, from what i hear it reacts very well with forced induction and you can use NOS with lpg as well.
im currently trying to find reason NOT to fit NOS to mine and i cant find any!
trouble with n/a engines is the amount of work and money it cost to up the power even a little, a nos kit is quick and very effective!
you can bet ya ass someone else will know more or different to me, lol............

You will see a big drop in performance between LPG & Petrol. Running on LPG costs me 40BHP.

So just to regain the performance of petrol would need some serious effort.

I believe this effect to be mainly due to the lower calorific value of LPG, so to compensate, you need to get more in somehow. So normal tricks are needed, e.g. cam, heads etc. The LPG mixer is normally a pretty serious restriction, so fitting LPG injection is a good idea for starters.
