Can anyone assist me with the above?

This will be fitted to a TVR 390, which at the moment is running MS1 V3 board, on fuel only. The plan being to convert to wasted spark via Ford coil packs. :toilet

I bought a custom wheel from www.triggerwheels.co.uk (or .com can't remember). Bolts straight to the fron of the crank pulley, comes with two spacers as well.

As for the VR sensor - I'm using a ford one and making my own mount from some alu sheeting and using the two block bolt holes at the right of the engine (as you look at it from the front).

VR sensor needs to be about 0.5mm from the trigger wheel as far as I remember.

As for mounting it relative to the 36-1 config, see the MS website they've got all the numbers on there (or www.extraefi.co.uk - tha'ts where i bought my MS from and it has some very useful info in there).

hope that helps a wee bit

I have a spare VR sensor as well if ya need one, and two ford coil packs I bought in used but good condition from ebay - not using them as I now have Accel coil packs instead. I'll let you have the lot for what I paid for them, which will be about £35posted IIRC, will dig the reciepts out if you're interested.

cheers

If your not very handy with the tools or just cant be bothered I think triggerwheels also do a VR mount and sensor for the rover. Actually just noticed the link above isnt the place I know which is http://trigger-wheels.com/store/ .

Cheers guys.

Got the trigger wheel from TriggerWheel.com along with some sheilded cable. Got two coil packs inc all wiring + VR sensor and wiring for £15 from my local scrappy.

I'll just have to study the info on the MS manual as to aligning the VR sensor.

Thanks again :D
