Hello,

On old forum I had posted an topic about alloy girdle plate for early Rover V8.

During this summer, I have made one girdle plate in 20mm tickness 6014 Aircraft Grade Aluminium Sheet.

That's a nice bit of kit!

I noticed that your block is also cross drilled, what are you planning to run this engine on, nitroglycerene? :D :D

Pete

Did you sell one of these on ebay relatively recently??

Very impressive piece of machining that mate. Will there be any more produced, because I may be tempted hehe!!!!

Hello Chodijnn,

Thank for compliment. Yes I have listed mine on Ebay due some changements in my project.

Alloy plate is very expensive (around 100GBP) and JED main studs kit also expensive. I have payed 127GBP with VAt just for 10 custom studs :( . (no nut, washer and spacer). ARP extra long main stud kit would have been less expensive.

I am not in Europe at this moment, back only in January.

If you are always interested by alloy girdle plate, contact me at this time. I can made one for you.

Cheer.
