Hi, I have a very earlier SD1 fitted in my Stag and the power steering hose has burst. I'm assuming it's the high pressure hose as it has pressure fixings at both ends whereas the second pipe doesn't.
Anyone know where I can get a hose, or make any suggesting about how I can re-attach the burst pipe end, thanks? Russ

Best take it to a local hydraulic hose manufacturer, check for pirtek or similar in the phone book, the other pipe is the return and isn't under pressure so it only needs a couple of jubilee clips

I've used Pirtek for my Landie, very reasonably prices.

Is it rubber hose or metal pipe ? Pipe can be repaired (had a similar problem recently in my V8 Land Rover) with a plumbing connector; hose needs replacing.

It's a bubber hose so I'll need to replace it, thanks for the helpful suggestions on where to go to get a new one. Russ.

Most plumbing compression style fittings, arent really rated to the sort of pressures involved in PAS systems.
Yes, I know they usually work, and have used them myself. But just be aware that they may not always work, and PAS fluid is quite flammable.
