dry sump

ive just smashed the sump on my bmw because its a modified one thats been designed to fit over the cross member which means its very low at the front and now ive smashed it beyond repair, where can i get a dry sump system and are they expensive

Toughy,

try www.paceproducts.co.uk. They don't do a specific BMW kit (except for a Mini!) but you can buy all the bits except for the sump from them. As for cost a Vauxhall 16V kit cost about £700.

Is there a difference between JE Engineering and John Eales?
I know John Eales makes a dry sump for the BMW V8's used in the Morgan Aero 8.

Yep, John Eales used to be a co-director at JE Engineering but they parted company many years ago.
