Over 200£ for croup A rockers??
Why dont you spend slightly more money and buy roller rockers from Harland sharp? I order those harland sharp roller rockers and they cost me 290£ inc carriage to USA-FINLAND
Those are also adjustable, and lot of cheaper that Yella terras..
And slightly better that "solid" rockers.

Now don't shoot me if I'm wrong but in the early days I believe they used Volvo rockers

I'll e mail a mate and see if he can confirm which ones

Sorry drew a blank on the Volvo - I know I heard it somewhere but obviously got the wrong face to fit the story.

He did run a very fast Rover V8 race car and had adjustable push rods made by Crane.

Your not wrong about the Volvo rockers, a book on V8 lumps that I've got mentions them but doesn't give any details.

I think the best bet is to get adjustable pushrods from Real Steel or V8 Developments. I think they go for about 120-140 quid.

I think that the volvo rockers need different pushrods anyway!

The volvo ones were p-180 or something like that, they also were handed so you needed 2 sets. They were like everything of that era, they were used to do a job, but it was hardly optimal, they gave a slightly higher ratio and they confirmed to some BS regulations for racing (standard equiptment or something like that) the roller rocker now available (changed about 7-9 years ago) from real steel have a much weaker adjuster than the older ones so be carefull.
Also Yella terra also used to do them but I'm going back a few years now

What rockers do you order from Harland Sharp which are suitable for the good old rover?

As the ones they show for the Buick / olds V8 are a pedestal mount not a shaft?

What do they end up costing after import duty and postage?

Well I now have some group A rockers.
The look the simular to the ones in the Pic, but have the standard spring spacers.

They seem to have to problems.
1st there is some where on the shafts. the rockers do have bushes so could I change the bushes and use now shafts.

2nd The faces that meet with the valve stems is pitted on some of the rockers. can this be fixed. options grind them smoth again. or put new faces on as used on the ali rockers.
