Blanking LT77 speedo drive hole

Apologies in advance if this is a repeat, I've searched the forum and not found a similar query (but that could just be me :-) )
I've not got a speedo drive in my gearbox (and am using an electronic pick up off the prop shaft anyway) and wondered what others had done to block it off. I can see two options:-
1. Buy a speedo drive unit but don't actually use the output or
2. Make a blanking plate myself

What have others done please?
Thanks
Chris

Never had to do it myself as I'm still running the cable although I have thought of changing to an electronic speedo, my plan in that case was to turn up a bung with an O ring seal. I guess it depends on whether you have capability to turn one up (or get one turned) or have access to a speedo drive to use instead. Whichever is easiest. I'm assuming that the drive without a cable is still oil tight?

I could probably turn one up for you as a last resort.

Thanks for the reply and kind offer GDCobra
After talking to a few others I'm planning to fabricate a blanking plate and clamp which I hope will be enough to stop any fluid leaking out.
I might be back to you if this fails :-)
Regards
Chris
