Oil cooler bypass

Post by gyislander »

I've acquired a landrover 101 oil pump cover so I can reposition the oil filter to get clearance for a bigger radiator on my hotrod. The 101 pump cover has ports for oil cooler pipes and although currently blanked off I've been told I'll need to fit a bypass between the ports.
Has anyone done this and if so what size and type of fittings did you use and where did you get them?
Thanks

Call Think Automotive

Explain what you are after and they will supply whatever you need.

Certainly very helpful when building my car

An update for anyone in a similar position. 2 domestic radiator tails, a 90 elbow and a 90 tap connector, job done.
Can't upload a photo for some reason.
