What's the best bargain (automotive) you've got off Ebay?

I only ask because I scored 6 Compomotive ML Alloys in near mint condition, 4 x 7" wide and 2 x 6" wide with 4 part worn Pirelli 225/50x15's for £314 and I'm feeling reasonably chuffed.

Cheers,

Ian

Best bargains for me have come outside of ebay, got a £600 Mini bartered down to £50, sold for £350 (its true value), which bought my compressor.
Got a bike for £200 which will be worth £1200+ when sorted and with another £200 spent.
I keep missing good stuff lately, like NOS inner Amazon wings for £30... :?

Capri turbo tail (genuine) for £30.

The best automotive deal i've had was a vfr 400(nc30) Which i bought for £2350 and then sold for £2100 a couple of years later but the person i sold it to wrapped it around a zim zimmer so i gave him £350 for it, spent £150 repairing it and sold it for £2100!!!!

£80 for a rebuilt RV8 block. Had to go a few miles to pick it up. But I stuck all my old bits on it, bolted it into the car and spent a year ragging it at the Pod while testing the nitrous system. It ran really well. I pulled it out as I had rebuilt my original block and sold it with the old gearbox and heads for 500 notes..Result.

I reckon mine was my Merc 420SEL, paid £330 for it and it's the comfiest barge I've ever driven. Only needed £80 worth of exhaust bits for it's MOT, and I'm the process of LPGing it now...

Only problem is that my wife's passed her test and pinched it as her car now.... Doh!

1986 lincoln continental I paid £200 for it with no mot and it cost me £54 to get a garage to mot it. I then sold it back on ebay for £1206.94p I remember the price very well as it was a odd amount and the fact I made a big profit. 8)

and 1 more I got a pontiac grand prix for £147 it had 10 months mot and 5 months tax. but had no power steering it cost me $7 for a power steering pipe fitted it myself and used the car for a year then sold it back on ebay for £200 buy it now with no tax or test :D

Think mine would be the 1988 Ford 5.0L and auto box i got for the capri for £435. cheapest i found a V8 anywhere else was £650.

My mate gets bargains wherever he looks, bought an 2 year old air compressor other day off his neighbor for £30, turns out they're worth £2000 new.
