Kev Taylor at C.R.A.P Conversions made one for me when I had the Rover and TH350 - think there was more to it than just an adapter plate, but it was a while ago now...and since Ive gone Chevy Ive forgotten all the details

I was quoted £600 for a Chevy TH350 to Rover adaptor plate from Crap conversions.

I ended up buying one form Mark Lagrou for £220.00
This was 18 months ago, but the kit includes the adaptor plate, modifed Rover to Chev flex palte and the pilot bush, plus all the bolts etc.
Took about 40 mins to have the TH350 bolted up and ready to rock.

If you are running an MGB V8 he also does a Ford 10 bolt axle already modified to bolt straight onto an MGB for silly cheap money. I'm just saving up for mine.

Mark is doing some deals on the axle. He will only discuss over the phone. Last time I looked it was a bout $1300 US. I moaned about the bloody UK import duty which is why he asked me to talk to him on the phone.

I have a pic somehwere. I'll dig it out.

Ive been looking for some information on adpting a GM 200R4 automatic overdrive to fit a Rover 4.6.

All I have right now is the block, crank, and transmission.

Do you know if the D&D Modified flexplate is based on a stock Rover piece?

It looks like the stock Rover setup is pretty convoluted compared to a stock Chevy setup.......
Im not sure which of these was stock on my Rover 4.6 since I only have the block and crank..

The Rover flex plate is a big lump of metal compared to the flex plate I got from D&D.
I'll post up a pic of the one from D&D
