fitting later 10 bolt heads to a 10.5 cr engine, what needs to be done? I'd like to drop the cr a bit too. Thanks in advance
If you fit a later head and a composite gasket, then nothing will change. Your CR will be the same, and your valve gear will still be OK.
You need the later stretch-type head bolts as well.
There are more boltholes on the front and rear of the heads for ancillaries but you can ignore the extra ones!
If you want to lower CR, you need new pistons.
