Alternator terminal markings.

Post by DaveEFI » Thu Nov 28, 2019 3:56 pm

Have a Magneti Maralli alternator. Main output is obvious as it is the large terminal. Other two small ones are labelled B+ and W. Seems the B+ one is the warning light. W is a pulse output for a rev counter. I'm sure than makes perfect sense to someone. :D

I thought D+ was normally for the warning light

And you're right. Shows how confused I got. :D Found D+,61, L, lamp, N all being possibilities for the warning light.
