Anyone know the piston to deck height on a std 3.5l sd1 9.35:1 conpression engine?
Just working compression out, but ultimately will measure when i get it back from machine shop,

Unfortunately it can vary slightly due to casting differences in the block.

Deck height should be 8.96" but I've seen new blocks with up to 0.020" less than that.

Thanks, i measured the wear line to top of block and got 7.22mm or approx 30 thou piston to deck as crown of piston is 6.5mm thick
