I'm missing the shift leaver retaining spring and brackets, anyone know where I can get one?:

Also,

Also, the front cover has a small crak in the shaft (which means the release bearing is sticking. I could weld it, but would prefere to get a new one. I've already purchased on, but it turned out to be the wrong one. mine has a smaller cut out for the bottom shaft, and shorter shaft..Again, anyone know where I can get one?.

Finally, does anyone know what this hole is for?....Do I need to block it (it's going into a rear wheel drive kit car)?:

Many thanks for any help...Paul.

Hi Paul
Cant help you with the springs or bracket but that big hole is for your speedo drive mate.
Guessing you might need that so don't block it off

hello,

I have a brand new never used spring that you need, still in the packet.

Cant help with brackets though, but you could make some at the worst.

let me know if you need the spring.

Part number is UK5394.

Just read this....and typical, I found an old remote gear change on ebay with it on, so bought the who lot!...Really appreciate you getting back to me though......The front cover I think I'm going to have to get repaired, as I can't find one anywhere (after ringing around yesterday).
