Hi Guys,
at last have got my conrods back from V8D :(
I did have someone interested in buying them but due to the amount of time it took for the parts to be returned to me he no longer wants them,

What should I ask for them as going to pop em up on ebay now and the money can go towards building my new engine,

Are they stock 4.6 rods which have been lightened and then balanced, or are they stock rods that have become a bit lighter due to the balancing works Coops ?

I would think that they would only be worth the cost of the work done to be honest + a few quid for the rods. So cost of lightening and balancing + postage costs + say £50 for a set of used Rover rods??

Thats what I would advertise them for as my starting bid on Ebay.

Bollox to that! Aim high and make it O.N.O. for wiggle room. 125 Quid to start, you may find someone with a Christmas bonus burning a hole in his pocket.

I would have thought that the lightening and balancing would have been more than £125 mate. As I said, I would advertise at £50 + the L&B cost as a starting bid. I'm thinking that this would be close to £200 + ?

Its all down to what folk think the Rover Rods are worth eh. If you set the starting price at the min price you will accept and they sell for that then its all good eh ;)
