hello all,
can anyone confirm the sizes of the ARP flywheel bolts for the rover v8?
bolt head size & socket required
length & thread.
The ones I have don't have much space for the socket between the bolt & the crank shaft where the spigot bearing goes.....
Not sure if the head sizes on the bolts I have a correct.
cheers

sorted already, I've got the wrong ARP flywheel bolts....
I have 200-2802 bolts which are 7/16-20 1ins long 3/4 socket....
but should have
200-2807 bolts which are 7/16-20 1ins long 5/8 socket....
time to buy some new ones.

Mine were really tight,I had to turn a socket down to get them to fit,
(I think that makes sense !)

Cheers looks like an option to me.
Will get a new 3/4 socket and get it reduced at work to make it fit.

I just ground away the outside of the socket. Not as pretty as doing it on a lathe but it got me out of trouble on a Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, had to lathe a socket when I fitted them on mine

What is the problem with standard bolts?

I too had to turn down a 3/4 socket in a lathe to fit the bolts
