Just a quick hello.
Keen Land Rover trials driver, trialling a 90 in RTV class. Currently a 300tdi (sorry) but with a plan to swap that out and drop in a 3.9 and auto box in time.
Trying to work out to buy a wrecked engine to rebuild as I have a yearning to rebuild an engine in time or to go for a known good one. Common sense would be to buy a good one but getting oily hands sounds more fun.
Wont be something i can do for a year or so either way but may as well start planning it now.
