Engine Cradle/Crate for Transporting a V8

I am lifting a Rover V8 out of a vehicle but then need to move it in a trailer back to my garage for a strip on an engine stand.
Ideally I'd like a crate cradle to drop it in to travel on the trailer, and wondered if anyone had any dimensions or a sketch of such a thing? I can make something up but would like to have it done before lifting the lump out if I can.
Thanks for any help!

I have a cradle, that came with an engine I bought, if you are anywhere near Torbay, you're welcome to it.

If you have any ratchet straps and some blocks of wood, you can just wedge it in place in the trailer.

Stu you're a couple of hours away from me but thanks for the offer.
Chris I think that's the plan as I can lift the engine out and get a trailer underneath, block and strap it for the short trip to the garage where I have a hoist to lift it and get it onto the stand proper. Didn't think about getting it straight onto the trailer, that'll work.

I have always rested them on the sump, and stuck a block under the crank pulley. The engine will then sit level, so all you have to do is stop is moving........
