My engine and box are now in the car, and the gear lever location is a bit too far back for the standard transmission tunnel hole. I can't find anything online so can someone give me a guide and pictures to making the cranked gear lever that i have read about?

I'm sure when we did the V8 conversion on a mates Roadster that he bought a shortened remote thingy from Clive Wheatley MG spares ??

I'm sure the only thing we did with his gearstick was to make it shorter.
