So you have a speedo already ?

Jaycar do a converter which takes in the pulses from a sensor and either multiplies or divides them - adjustable about x3 in either direction. Allowing near any electronic head to be used. Probably costs less than having a mechanical one re-calibrated. If you have no speedo drive at all it will work with toothed disc on the prop and a hall effect sensor.

It does +/-100%

I have one...that said, last few times Ive checked their site it always says no stock.

So it's maybe been discontinued.

Lots of USA GT 40 and similar cars are running the GPS speedo

Will find the satellites within15 secs of starting supposedly - unless you live in a long tunnel

Ah - failing memory. :D -/+ x2, then.

I've got one here - would be easy enough to copy the PCB if needed.
