been asked a question on a v8 message board that no one has answered.

Any rover v8 waterpumps that are at least 3 - 3 1/2 inches from gasket surface to pulley mount for a 3.5 out there???

Whats his problem Coops??

I've got a 3500 on the stand in the garage with an SD1 (I think) front cover fitted and the water pump has about 75mm from gasket face to the face of the flange where the water pump pulley would mount ??

he has a 4x4 front cover on a 3.5 and pump to long to fit in his installation mate
