Can anyone tell me if there is an alluminium sump from another (later) RV8 that will fit my 3.5 P6 ?
And if so, where would I get one from ? does anyone have one ?

Is there a reason for wanting an Aluminium sump? Are you thinking cast or welded? A pressed steel sump has a lot of advantages, compared to cast aluminium it is probably lighter for the same strength, in terms of fabricated it will be pretty close. The steel sump is much easier to modify, easy to weld, what else could you want. I would consider a cast aluminium sump that would double as a girdle tying all the main caps together, otherwise I will stick with pressed steel.

The sump from the 'Thor' version of the engine as fitted to later P38 Range Rovers and Discovery 2's is the only aluminium production sump.

It won't fit your P6 engine because the timing cover is different.
It would probably be OK at the back mind you, as it is flush with the rear of the block. However it was designed to fit the automatic bellhousing (and probably the R380 manual bellhousing == LT77 bellhousing).
