Refurbing Kenne Bell roller rockers

Got a set of Kenne Bells, and they aren't looking too good.

The bushings are worn, but getting some bushes made up is no dramas. However, some of the rollers feel a little sticky and there is some play in one or two of them, so I'm thinking about replacing those too.

Are they just needle roller bearings? I can't find a standard size bearing that's the same size, and they're going to be a sod to get out too, as the retaining circlip is recessed into the rocker body and you can get nothing in to get them out. Any idea where I'll be able to get some replacement tips?

Cheers,

Adam

Hi
Odds on they will be out of someone's catalogue if they weren't they would have to be custom made and the tooling for that would make them too expensive to make, your problem is finding them. . .your best bet is to contact one of the big bearing manufacturers/ importers, I have done this with Timken in the past and they were increadably helpfull, or send an enquiry to one of the big distributors of needle roller bearings, give them the measurements and any identifying marks/number and generally they will tell you what you need.
Best regards
Mike

Hi
Did you see which corner of the garage the circlip shot into? I can never find the things!
yup the tips are normally just a sleeve on a pin it is normal for the fulcrum to have the needle rollers.
Best regards

I assumed they were actual roller bearings on the tip, but I've just managed to get the circlip off one to press the pin out and they are just solid rollers that turn freely on the pin. Probably leave them alone and just get the bushes made, if John Eales or Ta don't have them.

Cheers.
