Hello. Just joined the Forumand this is my first post. But looking at the various subjects covered I think I will be around quite a bit.

First off _ I have bought a Rover V8 described as a 4.6 'Bowler Tomcat' engine.
The number stamped on the Block is 36DPHLE2063,,, I would be grateful for any information members can pass on.

Welcome mate.

Have you contacted Bowler themselves? They might have records etc.

That's definitely not a Rover engine number, so Bowler will be your best bet to find out exactly what it is.
