QUADRAJET ON A ROVER 3500 ENGINE.

Have had some probs with th su`s on my v8(flooding) so decided to fit a quadrajet from a pontiac 301(the crap one)on it for testing as I was not too impressed with the the Holley 8007 I had.
Fired it up and f**k me the throttle response is amazing,better than the su`s and better than the Holley,and this is with a chopped down su manifold with a spreadbore adapter fitted to it.
Only prob is that it`s a bit on the rich side at idle and I could do with some smaller jets but if I can find bits it might be worth trying for a while.
The primarys are small but secondarys are massive so I think that explains the low speed response.
Will try and get some jets and let you know how I get on.
