Hi,

While doing a head gasket job on my friend 5.0 Supercharged JE Engineering P38, i discovered that one of the camshaft bearings shifted ).

I've seen plenty of a bearing kits and i guess i need a cam bearing tool.

You can get a drawing of the cam bearing tool here:

I have a drilled and tapped hole in the centre of each piece so I can draw the bearings into place with a long piece of studding.

Hi.
You will need to carefully check the cam journal as when the bearing initially moved it will have blocked the oil feed hole and the journal will probably be damaged.
However, the cam itself looks a bit iffy in the photo and you probably intend to replace it.

Hello Chris,

Great!! What kind of material do you recommend to cut those?

Nothing special - mild steel will be fine.
