i had a rocker cover chromed for my old pinto.
cost 25 quid at a local place.
wouldnt recomend the firm though as its pitted and looks rubbish in less than 2 years.
maybe if you get it done somewhere better the results would improve.
looked great at first though

I have had loads done in the past for show bikes and stuff but to be honest I never found a good quality company. The chrome never lasted very long so if it was alloy I just went for polishing from then on.

I sent a custom made badge bar to be chrome plated, but I can't remeber where I sent it. I would look through my receipts but i'm not at home.
It cost about £100 quid I think but I think that was because He had to do a lot of extra polishing because I couldn't be bothered. It came out fairly well. But the surface must be in good condition because the chrome shows up the defects so polish it up well first your self, e.g, nice clean welds, no scribe marks in the surface because they show, no griding marks or scores. Is worth the effort to polish it up first then it doesn't look too bad.
Mine's been done 16 months, and still looks fine. Bit of rust around the welds now but other than that, was a fair job.

I use Wooburn plating near Maidenhead in Bucks. They are pretty good.
